Dwayne has been the pastor of First Baptist Church for 11 years.
Prior to moving to Asher, Dwayne served as Associate Pastor/Youth Minister at Trinity Baptist Church, Pauls Valley, OK, for two years and Youth Minister at Southside Baptist Church, Altus, Oklahoma, for three years.
Dwayne served in the United States Air Force for seven years and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Dwayne and his wife Cheryl, were married on May 28, 1988, and have two wonderful sons, Matthew age 18 and Timothy age 14.
He was licensed and ordained to the Gospel Ministry January 29, 1995.
Steve and his family joined FBC the fall of 2006. He and his wife Phyllis have two children, Brendan and Leandrea.
